Dr Liz Whitehead
Dr Liz Whitehead is a Consultant Anaesthetist with more than 25 years of active clinical experience in the NHS and private healthcare. Patient safety is her topmost priority in her medical practice, therefore, she uses the safest techniques of sedation and anaesthesia. Her aim is to make patients feel as comfortable as possible with minimal pain, drowsiness and nauseous after the gynaecological surgery and daycare.
Dr Whitehead is an expert at using modern intravenous sedation used mainly for minor procedures. She puts the patient’s health and preference first while administering the sedation, thus, making them feel more at ease and comfortable during the procedure.
Dr Whitehead has a special interest in the health and overall well being of women. This complements the exceptional care and service provided by Dr. Nilesh Agarwal and his team. Dr Whitehead has prior experience in providing peri-operative care to patients right from their pre-assessment to their post-operative visits. She is an excellent human being and treats every individual with sensitivity and empathy. She is extremely patient while listening to the patient’s concerns and helps them relax, ensuring that the patient is thoroughly informed about all the aspects of anaesthetics care.
